Some Simple Scheming (Cassie)

Anna was sitting at the bar at the Mystic Grill when she was a young woman came in. Anna looked the girl over and came to the conclusion that it was probably the Montez girl. Anna didn’t know the girl’s first name, she just knew the family features on the girl. If she was actually a member of the Montez family, that would mean issues for Anna. Yeah, there were definitely werewolves in the town, but the Montez family of werewolves was some that she had actually encountered before, and it was a pretty close encounter too.

Anna turned back to the bar and ordered separate glasses of vodka and Sprite. Pulling out a little bit of wolvesbane she kept on her, Anna ground it into the Sprite till it was no longer visible. Then she poured about half the glass of Sprite in with her vodka. With the set up complete, Anna walked over where the Montez girl was sitting. “Hey, you wouldn’t happen to like Sprite. I asked for a Vodka and Sprite, and they ended up giving it to me in two separate glasses. There’s some left over after I mixed my own drink if you want it,” Anna rambled off in fake nervousness as she arrived next to the girl’s table.

Anna was a little annoyed at the skepticism coming out of the young woman, but it was also something that she rather expected. “What, I can’t offer a pretty girl a drink. What is this world coming to? I thought we were, you know, becoming progressive as a planet, becoming accepting of that fact that girls can hit on other girls, and it not be a whole, you know, taboo thing,” Anna said with a cheeky smile. While she was being slightly elusive with the statement, Anna didn’t say anything that she didn’t think was true. The girl definitely was rather attractive. If it wasn’t for the whole, possibly being a werewolf, she definitely would be right up Anna’s alley. “Though, we haven’t met, so introductions might be a good first step, wouldn’t they” Anna said before setting both glasses down on the table. “I’m Anna,” she said, holding out her hand.
