What are they gonna do, bite me? (Open)
Motorbike
Thana had arrived on her motorbike and her parent's office in town and walked in. Immediately getting into her Dad's office and spoke to him before catching her mum outside. On the pavement. ''Thana I want you to be careful. Mystic Falls- "Is full of vampires, werewolves, witches yes I know. What are they gonna do? Bite me? You and Dad are the hunters I'm not remember. I don't want to know nor do I care about all that bullshit. Don't worry I'll be safe. Only screw vampires." Thana said, "I'll see you at home !" She called, grabbing her board. Having parked her motorbike, and saw her mothers horrified face. "Mum I'll be fine. Just don't go killing everyone ok?" She asked and shook her head and walked off. Unawares super sensitive ears were hearing her and her mothers conversation.
To be honest the worst she would do would either be A: Go to the local pub and meet up with Jonsey, the manager who owned it who was a long time friend and get a drink , B: Go to the tattoo parlour, or C: Go explore the mall and skatepark. Like seriously Thana wasn't her parents, who cared about vampires and witches? Jonsey was a werewolf , she didn't give a shit it wasn't her business. Her business was writing songs, tattooing and skateboarding. Skating off she cut down a few alleyways, her board easily manoeuvring the corners and she slid around them. Not a damn in the world.

The Mystic Falls skate park had seen better days, Marzipan observed. For certain oppressively conventional values of better that is. Graffiti crawled over every inch of concrete in a scintillating orgy of neons and pastels. Beer cans and assorted trash littered the bottoms of the bowls, crushed flat by the passage of hundreds of wheels. The Virginia heat lent it a distinctive smell, a delectable bouquet of hot asphalt, stale sweat and burning weed.
Marzipan leaned against the steel fence at the periphery of the park and bared her teeth in a expression the naive might mistake for a grin. This was her kinda place. These were her kinda people. She wanted something from them and was going to get it. Last night, the rains had flooded her campsite in the woods outside of town and soaked her belongings. Memories of her own carelessness brought a scowl to Marzipan's face. It was a good things, she reflected as she vaulted the fence into the park, no one would respect her if she came in grinning like a half-wit.
As Marzipan approached the central cluster of skaters, a new figured glided into the park. Immediately, Marzipan noticed that she was different. Her form and footwork were loose but technically flawless, shifting her mass gracefully to guide the board with effortless precision. She hated to admit it but Marzipan doubted she could do better herself. More intriguing than the girl's balance, though, was the flash of something like recognition that crossed her face when her eyes met Marzipan's.
Marzipan squinted, this girl knew something. She waited until the newcomer rolls to a stop that stalked towards her.
Sup, Marzipan grunted I'm Marci.

Thana looked around her boredly while she skated, and was ease had turned. Her feet loose, but with great skill , she had found the skate park. There was a cluster of skaters.....but there was also someone she knew. Marzipan.
As she was greeted by the girl Thana nodded. "I know Marci. I'm Thana. Semele. We met when our parents were out to dinner." She said, "What are you doing in Mystic Falls? Your parents are supposed to be in Russia." Thana told the girl. "Are you alone?"
Now don't get thana wrong she didn't give a shit about hunters, sure she loved her mother but that was only because she had all but given up hunting to make Thana happy. However kids like hers that weren't hunters but had hunter parents made her concerned. Especially Marci, she was an adopted kid. Well foster kid as people called them. Thana wanted to know why Marci was here, and what it meant.

Marzipan tried not to let the shock show on her face. This girl claimed to know her... claimed they had met... but she would swear she had never seen her in her life. There was something naggingly familiar... but no she had never doubted her memory before and she wouldn't start now. But much more significantly, she claimed to know where her parents had gone. It was first thing even slightly resembling a lead she'd had since arriving in town.
After a moment, Marci regained control of her facial expression wiping a vacant, uncaring mask over her blunt features. Oh yeah, Thana... I remember now she lied almost smoothly. They ain't my parents, T and they're gone now. Whatever. I'm looking for a place to crash. Whats the couch-surf network like in this ****hole?
